GP Tests and Existing Health Information
If tests which may be of benefit to you are available through your GP or consultant , a referral letter can be provided to you for discussion with your doctor.
Resources within the NHS are limited and GPs may not always be able to undertake the recommended tests. If this is the case, tests can usually be arranged through specialist laboratories and self-funded or claimed through private healthcare schemes.
Where you have already undertaken significant and relevant testing through the NHS or specialists, copies of any relevant tests can be used to inform the nutritional programme with your consent. Most GP surgeries are happy to provide copies of tests to their patients. Even ‘normal’ test results can be useful and are analysed alongside the wealth of other information provided in order to consider what may be ‘optimum results’ rather than purely as indicators of a diagnosable disease
