Dietary Analysis
Dietary Analysis involves keeping a very detailed food diary for 4 days which is then analysed using professional software. Findings are explained in a 45 minute appointment. You are provided with a detailed report looking at whether your diet is providing you with a healthy balance of calories, protein, carbohydrate, fats, vitamins and minerals as measured against Government Guidelines and Nutritional Optimums. The detailed assessment report includes suggestions for foods containing nutrients you may be lacking in and can be used to guide you in making changes to your diet.
Step 1
Step 2
Download the Food Diary and write down everything you eat and drink for 4 ‘typical days’ within the next week. It is not necessary for the days to be consecutive but rather choose days which are more representative of your average eating patterns. Please list as much information as possible about your meals in order to gain an accurate assessment as possible using the computer system. Not all foods will be in the database- where a food does not appear, the closest option will be selected.
Step 3
Return the Food Diary Sheets to the address on the form with cheque payment . Diary Sheets must arrive with Change Nutrition 5 working days before your appointment.
Step 4
Attend the Change Nutrition Clinic for your appointment where we will discuss the key findings. Your appointment includes a copy of a detailed full colour report focusing on your current nutrient intake from food and clear information on where your current diet may be lacking in key nutrients or where there may be excesses of calories, fats, salt, carbohydrates and other nutrients.
